“Fujifilm continues to provide innovation to meet its goal of creating superior health care experiences and improving patient outcomes,” said Jim Morgan, Vice President of Medical Informatics at FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. “Synapse VNA will enhance image management, streamline workflow, reduce costs and, most importantly, improve patient care. By listening to management teams and I.T. professionals, and leveraging Fujifilm’s broad experience in health care imaging domains, Fujifilm is creating a powerful new solution with Synapse VNA. This addresses the clinical departmental needs of image management and allows IT the tools to centralize organizational imaging.”
Synapse VNA is a patient-centric application neutral highly scalable organizational image content management solution. It can be completely virtualized with existing server architecture and is open to leverage current or planned physical storage environments. It is unique in its multiple methods of EHR patient associated content capture and ability to store content in its native format supporting both DICOM and Non-DICOM. Fujifilm also leverages over 50 years of experience in imaging areas like radiology, cardiology, endoscopy, and point of care ultrasound to uniquely streamline VNA capture workflows.
A VNA solution is not complete without an enterprise viewer capable of displaying all of the image types stored to the VNA, with the appropriate tools based on the viewing physician type or department, and ZERO PC requirements. Fujifilm will also showcase its Synapse Mobility Enterprise Viewer to expand VNA image access across entire health system.
